Eclipse Rich Client Platform

Designing, Coding, and Packaging Java Applications

Reviews

"The first great thing about this book is how much useful information it provides about building applications using the Eclipse Rich Client Platform (RCP). The second great thing about this book is that it is really easy to read and that's rare in books that provide this level of technical detail." - Wayne Beaton

"This book has been produced extremely well: The text is well written, the pages are full of easy to follow code snippets, and there are sidebars that share best practices and handy tips, as well as plenty of good quality screen shots and diagrams." - Simon Archer

One word: Awesome!
This book has filled in so many of the holes that the other eclipse books have left out. Most eclipse books only have 1 or 2 chapters on RCP but this is the first book to have a complete dedication to the greatness of RCP. The book focuses on writing a chat application that is easy to understand and follow. Props to the 2 guys for writing a book that is true genius and will surely get the RCP ball rolling in programming shops all across the globe. Great job! - Jason J. Milliron
